That trust is more important than ever in a crisis, and is the moment accountability is most needed. If you can turn off a system that claims to develop trust with an organizations stakeholders, it was never there to build trust but exists for some other reason. You should find what that reason is and name it appropriately, because whatever it is isn’t accountability.
